Dr. Thomas Brown is originally from and was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Tulane University and then LSU Medical School where he completed his Orthopedic Residency through Tulane. He completed a Total Joint Fellowship with Ray J. Haddad, M.D., Chairman of the Orthopedic Department at Tulane.
Dr. Brown has been practicing orthopedics since 1990, and has done thousands of joint replacements here in the Chattanooga area; both knee and hip replacements, shoulder replacements, and partial knee replacements. He is also trained in general orthopedics, specifically Sports Medicine, and took care of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for fifteen years, treating all of the athletes.
